Joshua 6 (vv. 1-2)

Jericho stands sealed in fear, its massive gates barred and its walls lined with watchful defenders. Outside the city, Joshua receives the LORD’s assurance that Jericho, its king, and its warriors have already been given into Israel’s hand, creating a striking contrast between the city’s visible strength and the invisible certainty of divine victory.
