Description
After hiding in the hills for three days while the pursuers search in vain, the two spies descend, cross the Jordan, and return safely to Joshua. They report all that has happened and testify with confidence that the LORD has surely given the land into Israel’s hands, because the people are overcome with fear. The mission that began in secrecy ends in assurance and rising courage.
