Description
Rahab acts quickly and courageously. She hides the two spies on the flat rooftop beneath stalks of flax laid out to dry, then misdirects the king’s men by telling them the strangers already departed at dusk. As the pursuers rush toward the Jordan fords, the city gate is shut behind them, leaving the spies concealed above the sleeping city.
