Joshua 2 (vv. 1-3)

Joshua secretly sends two spies from Shittim to scout Jericho. Under the cover of evening, they enter the house of Rahab, whose dwelling is built into the city wall. Their arrival does not remain hidden for long, and word quickly reaches the king of Jericho, who sends messengers demanding that Rahab surrender the men.

여호수아는 싯딤에서 두 정탐꾼을 비밀리에 보내 여리고를 정탐하게 한다. 저녁 어둠 속에서 그들은 성벽에 붙어 있는 라합의 집으로 들어간다. 그러나 그들의 방문은 오래 숨겨지지 못하고, 곧 이 소식이 여리고 왕에게 전해져 왕은 라합에게 사람들을 내놓으라고 전갈을 보낸다.
