Jonah 2 (vv. 1-2)

Inside the dark interior of the great fish, Jonah turns to the LORD in desperate prayer. Surrounded by wet, organic walls and dim shafts of filtered light, he cries out from distress, acknowledging that God has heard him from the depths of deathlike darkness.

큰 물고기의 어두운 뱃속에서 요나는 절박한 기도로 여호와께 부르짖는다. 젖은 생체의 벽과 희미하게 스며드는 빛에 둘러싸인 그는 죽음과 같은 깊은 어둠 속에서 하나님께서 자신의 부르짖음을 들으셨음을 고백한다.
