Description
Jesus' hard teaching causes many disciples to murmur and withdraw, leaving him behind. In a poignant moment, Jesus turns to the Twelve and asks whether they also wish to leave. Against the backdrop of departing followers, Peter answers for the faithful remnant: there is nowhere else to go, for Jesus alone has the words of eternal life, even as the shadow of coming betrayal already hangs over the group.
