Description
After Jesus withdraws alone, evening falls and the disciples struggle across the dark lake in a boat battered by strong wind and rough waves. In the midst of fear, they see Jesus approaching them, walking on the water. Their terror gives way to awe as he speaks, 'It is I; do not be afraid,' and the boat immediately reaches the shore.
