Description
At daybreak Jesus stands on the shore, though the disciples do not yet recognize him. From a distance he calls to them and tells them to cast the net on the right side of the boat. They obey, and suddenly the net fills with such a great number of fish that they cannot haul it in. The image holds the tension between ordinary morning labor and the dawning of divine intervention.
