Description
After Judas leaves, Jesus speaks of the Son of Man being glorified and tells the remaining disciples that he will be with them only a little longer. He gives them a new commandment: they are to love one another as he has loved them, and by this love all people will know they are his disciples. Peter, bold and devoted, insists he will follow and even lay down his life, but Jesus solemnly foretells that before the rooster crows, Peter will deny him three times.
