Description
After waiting two days, Jesus tells his disciples that they must return to Judea, despite the danger there. The disciples are fearful, remembering the threat of stoning, while Jesus speaks of walking in the light and declares plainly that Lazarus has died. Thomas, with grim loyalty, urges the others to go as well, even if it means dying with him.
