Joel 2 (vv. 1-2)

A watchman or temple herald stands on the heights of Zion blowing a ram's horn with urgency as the whole land trembles at the warning. Dark storm clouds gather over the mountains, and the approaching day of the LORD is felt as a heavy, ominous presence descending over Jerusalem.

파수꾼 혹은 성전의 전령이 시온의 높은 곳에 서서 급박하게 숫양 뿔 나팔을 불고, 온 땅은 그 경고 앞에 떨고 있다. 산들 위로 어두운 폭풍 구름이 몰려오고, 여호와의 날이 예루살렘 위로 무겁고 불길한 임재처럼 다가오는 것이 느껴진다.
