사람의 눈이 닿지 않는 험준한 산중에서 산염소와 암사슴이 몸을 웅크리고 해산하여 새끼를 낳는다. 갓 태어난 새끼들은 곧 일어나 힘을 얻고 광야에서 자라나며, 인간의 돌봄 없이도 생명이 자라고 번성하는 신비를 드러낸다.
