Jeremiah 6 (vv. 9-15)

This scene exposes the corruption within the nation. While judgment gathers, prophets and priests deceive the people, lightly treating a mortal wound and proclaiming peace where none exists. All classes of society, from the least to the greatest, are consumed by greed. The image is one of public religion masking moral collapse, with leaders speaking reassurance over a city already marked for downfall.

이 장면은 나라 안에 퍼진 부패를 드러낸다. 심판이 다가오는데도 예언자와 제사장들은 백성을 속이며 치명적인 상처를 가볍게 다루고, 평강이 없는데도 평강을 외친다. 가장 작은 자부터 가장 큰 자까지 모두 탐욕에 사로잡혀 있다. 겉으로는 종교적 경건을 보이지만 실제로는 도덕적 붕괴가 진행되는 가운데, 지도자들은 이미 무너질 성읍 위에 거짓 안심을 선포한다.
