Jeremiah 52 (vv. 1-5)

After years of rebellion and evil under King Zedekiah, Nebuchadnezzar marches against Jerusalem with the full Babylonian army. The city is surrounded on every side, with siege ramps and military encampments closing in around the walls. The scene captures the beginning of judgment: Jerusalem still stands, but its fate is already tightening around it.

시드기야 왕의 반역과 악행 끝에 느부갓네살은 바빌론의 전 군대를 이끌고 예루살렘으로 진군한다. 도시는 사방에서 포위되고, 성벽 주변에는 공성 토루와 군영이 빽빽하게 세워진다. 이 장면은 심판의 시작을 보여 준다. 예루살렘은 아직 서 있지만, 그 운명은 이미 점점 조여 오고 있다.
