Description
Babylon’s warriors lose heart and remain trapped in their strongholds as gates are broken, dwellings burn, and messengers race through the city with news that it has been taken. The famed walls collapse, the proud city is overwhelmed like by roaring waters, and its idols are exposed as powerless. What was once the boast of the earth becomes a scene of smoke, panic, and irreversible ruin.
