Description

Her mercenaries, compared to fattened calves, turn and flee, while Egypt herself becomes like a serpent hissing as it retreats. The enemy comes in overwhelming numbers like woodcutters and locusts, reducing what seemed like a dense forest of strength into shame and exposure.
