Jeremiah 36 (vv. 1-4)

In the early stage of the chapter, Jeremiah receives the LORD’s command to record every prophetic word spoken against Israel, Judah, and the nations. Because the message carries both warning and a possibility of repentance, Jeremiah summons Baruch son of Neriah. In a quiet interior, Jeremiah solemnly dictates while Baruch carefully writes in ink on a scroll, preserving the divine message for the people.

이 장의 초반부에서 예레미야는 이스라엘과 유다와 여러 민족을 향해 선포된 모든 예언의 말씀을 기록하라는 여호와의 명령을 받는다. 그 말씀은 심판의 경고이면서도 동시에 회개의 기회를 담고 있다. 예레미야는 네리야의 아들 바룩을 불러 조용한 실내에서 엄숙하게 말씀을 받아쓰게 하고, 바룩은 먹으로 두루마리에 정성스럽게 기록하여 하나님의 말씀을 백성에게 전할 준비를 한다.
