Description
During the reign of Jehoiakim, Jeremiah receives the LORD’s command and goes to gather Jaazaniah, his brothers, his sons, and the whole Rekabite family. He leads them into the house of the LORD, into one of the side rooms near the chambers of officials and the doorkeeper, setting the stage for a prophetic test inside the sacred temple complex.
