Description
The LORD answers Jeremiah by affirming both judgment and restoration. Jerusalem will be handed over because of deep sin and idolatry, yet exile will not be the end. God promises to gather the people back, make an everlasting covenant with them, give them one heart, and restore the land so that fields will once again be bought, signed, sealed, and witnessed.
