Description
At the beginning of Jehoiakim’s reign, Jeremiah receives the LORD’s command to stand in the courtyard of the temple and speak without leaving out a single word. Worshipers from the towns of Judah are arriving at the house of the LORD, while Jeremiah stands set apart, bearing the weight of a message meant to call the nation to repentance before disaster falls.
