Jeremiah 23 (vv. 16-22, 25-27, 30-32)

This scene contrasts false prophets with the true authority of God. Charismatic prophets in the city square or temple precincts excitedly proclaim, 'I had a dream,' soothing the people with false peace while speaking from their own imagination. Above them, a dark whirlwind gathers, symbolizing the storm of the LORD descending on the wicked. The people listening are divided: some comforted, some uneasy, some morally complacent. The image captures deception, self-appointed authority, and the impending collapse of lies under divine judgment.
