Jeremiah 18 (vv. 1-3)

Jeremiah obeys the word of the LORD and goes down to the potter’s house. There he watches the craftsman at work, seated at the wheel, shaping wet clay with practiced hands. The setting is ordinary and humble, yet it becomes the place where divine revelation begins.

예레미야는 여호와의 말씀에 순종하여 토기장이의 집으로 내려간다. 그곳에서 그는 물레 앞에 앉아 젖은 진흙을 능숙한 손으로 빚는 장인을 바라본다. 평범하고 소박한 작업장이지만, 바로 그곳이 하나님의 계시가 시작되는 장소가 된다.
