Jeremiah 17 (vv. 14-18)

This scene centers on Jeremiah as a lonely but faithful prophet crying out for healing, salvation, and refuge. He stands or kneels in anguished prayer, his face lifted toward heaven, while hostile figures in the distance mock him with skeptical gestures, as if saying, “Where is the word of the LORD?” The prophet is emotionally exposed yet steadfast, caught between human scorn and divine dependence.
