Jeremiah 12 (vv. 1-4)

Jeremiah stands alone in prayer, bringing his complaint before the LORD. He is troubled that the wicked appear firmly planted and flourishing while their hearts remain far from God. Around him, the land itself reflects moral decay: fields are parched, grass is withered, and birds and animals are gone. The scene captures both the prophet’s anguish and the visible consequences of human wickedness upon creation.
