Isaiah 6 (vv. 1-2)

In the year of King Uzziah's death, Isaiah sees the LORD enthroned high above the temple. God's face is not revealed; instead, the overwhelming majesty of the divine presence is shown through a blazing throne, radiant light, and the immense train of the robe spreading through the sanctuary. Above the throne hover seraphim with six wings, covering face and feet in reverence while flying in attendance.

웃시야 왕이 죽던 해에 이사야는 성전 위에 높이 들린 주의 보좌를 본다. 하나님의 얼굴은 드러나지 않고, 타오르는 보좌와 찬란한 빛, 그리고 성소를 가득 채우는 옷자락을 통해 압도적인 신적 위엄이 나타난다. 보좌 위에는 여섯 날개를 가진 스랍들이 떠 있으며, 두 날개로 얼굴을 가리고 두 날개로 발을 가린 채 경외 가운데 날고 있다.
