Isaiah 56 (vv. 3-5)

A foreigner and a eunuch stand at the edge of the sacred community, carrying the pain of exclusion and the fear of being forgotten. Yet the scene shifts from sorrow to honor as they are drawn toward the temple walls, where a memorial and an everlasting name are promised to those who hold fast to God's covenant.

한 이방인과 한 고자가 거룩한 공동체의 가장자리에 서서 배제의 아픔과 잊힐지 모른다는 두려움을 안고 있다. 그러나 장면은 슬픔에서 영예로 바뀌며, 하나님의 언약을 굳게 붙드는 이들에게 성전 안과 그 성벽 안에서 기념과 영원한 이름이 약속되는 모습으로 전환된다.
