Description
The once-desolate Zion is astonished as children multiply and return, making the land feel too small. The Sovereign LORD lifts a banner to the nations, and foreign peoples carry Zion’s sons and daughters home in their arms. Kings and queens humble themselves before her, acknowledging the LORD’s faithfulness. The chapter closes with the LORD’s promise to contend with Zion’s oppressors and save her children, so that all humanity will know him as Savior, Redeemer, and Mighty One of Jacob.
