Isaiah 43 (vv. 1)

The opening scene centers on the personal covenant between the LORD and Israel. A solitary figure representing Jacob-Israel stands in a barren yet sacred landscape, overwhelmed but suddenly stilled by the awareness of divine calling. The emphasis is not on spectacle but on intimacy: the Creator who formed his people now speaks comfort, claiming them as his own and driving out fear.
