Isaiah 4 (vv. 1)

In a time of social ruin and shame, seven women urgently gather around one man, pleading to be called by his name so that their disgrace may be removed. They do not ask for provision, promising instead to eat their own food and wear their own clothing. The scene captures desperation, vulnerability, and the collapse of normal social order in Jerusalem after judgment.
