Description
In the night, the angel of the LORD strikes the Assyrian camp, and by morning the once-mighty army lies silent. Sennacherib withdraws to Nineveh, and later, while worshiping in the temple of Nisrok, he is killed by his own sons. The final movement of the chapter shows that the blasphemous king who exalted himself against God cannot escape divine judgment.
