Description
When King Hezekiah hears the Assyrian threat, he tears his royal garments, puts on sackcloth, and goes into the temple of the LORD in grief and humility. He sends Eliakim, Shebna, and the leading priests, also clothed in sackcloth, to seek the prophet Isaiah. The scene captures a king stripped of royal confidence, turning not to military power but to God.
