Isaiah 28 (vv. 7-13)

The spiritual leaders of the people are shown in humiliation rather than honor. Priests and prophets stagger from wine, unable to see clearly or judge rightly, while the tables before them are defiled with filth. They mock the prophetic word as childish repetition, but their refusal to listen means that God will speak through foreign tongues, and the very word they despise will become a snare leading to their fall.

백성의 영적 지도자들은 영예가 아니라 수치 속에 드러난다. 제사장들과 예언자들은 포도주에 비틀거리며 분별력과 판단력을 잃었고, 그들 앞의 상은 더러움으로 가득 차 있다. 그들은 예언의 말씀을 어린아이에게나 하는 반복적인 말처럼 조롱하지만, 듣기를 거부한 결과 하나님은 외국인의 입술로 말씀하실 것이며, 그들이 멸시한 그 말씀이 결국 그들을 넘어지게 하는 올무가 된다.
