Description
The chapter reaches its climax with a promise of resurrection and final judgment. Those who dwell in the dust are called to wake and shout for joy as the earth gives up its dead under the freshness of divine morning dew. At the same time, God's people are told to enter their rooms and hide briefly while the LORD comes forth in judgment, and the earth itself reveals hidden bloodshed and concealed guilt.
