Isaiah 25 (vv. 4-5)

This scene portrays the Lord as protector of the vulnerable. Poor and needy people gather beside a thick city wall or rocky shelter while a fierce desert storm sweeps across the land. Harsh wind and blowing sand represent the breath of ruthless oppressors, but the people remain safe in deep shade and calm. Above them, a cooling cloud moves in, muting the heat and silencing the threat, showing how God shields the weak from violence and fear.
