Description
Judah's defenses are exposed, and the people respond with frantic preparation. They inspect the broken walls of the City of David, gather weapons from the Palace of the Forest, store water in the Lower Pool, count buildings, and tear down houses to reinforce the fortifications. They build a reservoir between the walls, yet in all their labor they fail to look to the LORD who planned and made all things.
