Isaiah 19 (vv. 5-10)

The lifeblood of Egypt fails as the Nile dries up, canals stagnate, reeds wither, and fields become dust. Fishermen lament beside empty waters, and flax workers and weavers sit in despair as their livelihoods vanish. The scene reveals economic ruin spreading from the riverbanks into every layer of society.
