Isaiah 19 (vv. 2-4)

Egypt descends into internal chaos as brother rises against brother, city against city, and kingdom against kingdom. In the confusion, the people seek answers from idols, mediums, and spirits of the dead, but their counsel fails. The nation is shown as disoriented and vulnerable, on the brink of falling under the hand of a cruel ruler.
