Hebrews 9 (vv. 1-5)

The scene presents the ordered layout of the first covenant’s sanctuary. In the foreground stands the Holy Place with the golden lampstand glowing softly beside the table of consecrated bread. Beyond a heavy inner curtain lies the Most Holy Place, where the gold-covered ark of the covenant rests in sacred stillness. Inside the ark are remembered the jar of manna, Aaron’s budding staff, and the stone tablets. Above the atonement cover, cherubim spread their wings, while the presence of divine glory is suggested by radiant light rather than any visible form.
