Hebrews 3 (vv. 16-19)

The passage concludes with a sobering vision of the generation that left Egypt but failed to enter God's rest. The wilderness stretches endlessly, marked by exhaustion, loss, and unrealized promise. Rather than graphic death, the image conveys judgment through abandoned pathways, fallen camp remnants, and a distant horizon that remains unreachable because of unbelief.
