Description
Noah’s first act after leaving the ark is worship. He builds an altar to the LORD and offers burnt offerings, and the rising smoke becomes the visible sign of devotion. God responds inwardly with a promise never again to destroy all living creatures by such a flood, affirming the enduring rhythms of creation—seedtime and harvest, cold and heat, summer and winter, day and night.
