Description
Back in Canaan, the brothers tell Jacob the astonishing news that Joseph is alive and rules over Egypt. At first Jacob is stunned and unable to believe them, but when he hears Joseph's words and sees the Egyptian carts sent for him, his spirit revives. The aged father moves from numb disbelief to renewed life and determined hope: he will go and see his son before he dies.
