Genesis 45 (vv. 16-20)

News reaches Pharaoh's palace that Joseph's brothers have come, and the response is one of pleasure rather than suspicion. Pharaoh instructs Joseph to send his brothers back to Canaan with royal favor, carts, and a promise of the best land in Egypt. The court of Egypt becomes an instrument of provision for the family of Israel.

요셉의 형제들이 왔다는 소식이 바로의 궁에 전해지자, 의심이 아니라 기쁨으로 받아들여진다. 바로는 요셉에게 형제들을 가나안으로 돌려보내어 아버지와 가족들을 데려오게 하고, 수레와 함께 애굽의 가장 좋은 땅을 약속하라고 명한다. 이로써 애굽의 궁정은 이스라엘의 가족을 위한 공급의 도구가 된다.
