Genesis 44 (vv. 18-34)

Judah steps forward from among his brothers and delivers a deeply emotional appeal. He recounts their aged father’s love for Benjamin, the loss of Benjamin’s brother, and the unbearable sorrow that would fall on Jacob if the boy does not return. In the climax of the scene, Judah offers himself as a slave in Benjamin’s place, revealing a transformed heart marked by responsibility, sacrifice, and compassion.
