Genesis 24 (vv. 62-67)

In the Negev, Isaac walks alone in the field at evening, meditating, when he looks up and sees camels approaching. Rebekah also sees him, descends from her camel, and veils herself when she learns he is Isaac. The servant recounts the journey, and the scene culminates in Rebekah entering Sarah’s tent, becoming Isaac’s wife and bringing him comfort after his mother’s death.
