Genesis 22 (vv. 1-2)

In a moment of stillness, Abraham is summoned by God and answers, 'Here I am.' He then receives the devastating command to take Isaac, his beloved and only son of promise, to the land of Moriah and offer him there on a mountain God will reveal.
