Galatians 5 (vv. 22-26)

A peaceful procession of believers walks together in step along a sunlit path, symbolizing life led by the Spirit. In the foreground, a dead tree stump shaped like a cross suggests the crucifixion of the flesh, while beside it grows a flourishing vine and fruit tree heavy with ripe fruit, representing love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control. The people do not compete or provoke one another; instead they move in harmony, showing the beauty of a transformed community.

평화로운 신자들의 행렬이 햇빛 비치는 길을 한마음으로 함께 걸어가며 성령의 인도하심을 따라 사는 삶을 상징한다. 전경에는 십자가 형상을 떠올리게 하는 죽은 나무 그루터기가 있어 육체의 십자가 처형을 암시하고, 그 곁에는 무성한 포도나무와 탐스럽게 열매 맺은 나무가 자라 사랑, 희락, 화평, 오래 참음, 자비, 양선, 충성, 온유, 절제를 나타낸다. 사람들은 서로 경쟁하거나 자극하지 않고 조화롭게 걸으며 변화된 공동체의 아름다움을 보여 준다.
