Galatians 5 (vv. 16-21)

A single person stands at a crossroads between two paths. One path descends into a dark, chaotic city scene filled with idols, drunken feasting, rage, division, and shadowy unrest; the other path is touched by a descending beam of light, though still contested. The central figure looks torn, embodying the inner conflict Paul describes between the desires of the flesh and the leading of the Spirit. The scene conveys temptation, moral struggle, and the grave consequences of choosing the works of the flesh.
