Description
When the builders lay the temple foundation, priests in vestments stand with trumpets and Levites with cymbals praise the LORD according to the tradition of David. The people shout, 'He is good; his love toward Israel endures forever,' yet many older witnesses who remember the former temple weep aloud, so that joy and grief merge into one overwhelming sound heard far away.
