Ezekiel 47 (vv. 1-2)

Ezekiel is brought back to the entrance of the temple and sees a miraculous stream emerging from beneath the threshold, flowing eastward from the south side of the sanctuary near the altar. The scene emphasizes the holiness of the source: life-giving water is not coming from rain or spring, but from the very presence of God in the temple.

에스겔은 성전 입구로 다시 인도되어, 문지방 아래에서 기적처럼 흘러나오는 물이 동쪽으로 흐르는 것을 본다. 그 물은 제단 남쪽, 성소의 남쪽에서 흘러나온다. 이 장면은 그 근원이 얼마나 거룩한지를 강조한다. 생명을 주는 물이 비나 샘에서 나오는 것이 아니라, 성전 안에 임재하시는 하나님의 자리에서 흘러나오고 있기 때문이다.
