Ezekiel 43 (vv. 1-3)

Ezekiel is brought to the eastern gate and witnesses the glory of the God of Israel coming from the east. The scene is overwhelming: the sound of the divine presence is like rushing waters, the whole land shines with radiant splendor, and Ezekiel recognizes this as the same majestic vision he had seen before. In reverence and fear, he falls facedown before the approaching glory.

에스겔은 동쪽을 향한 문으로 인도되어 이스라엘 하나님의 영광이 동쪽에서 오는 것을 본다. 그 장면은 압도적이다. 하나님의 임재의 소리는 큰 물소리 같고, 온 땅은 찬란한 광채로 빛난다. 에스겔은 이것이 전에 보았던 그 장엄한 환상과 같은 것임을 알아차리고, 경외와 두려움 가운데 엎드려 얼굴을 땅에 댄다.
